Andrew C. Trilling is a strategic consultant working at the intersection of philanthropy, platform, and influence—guiding individuals, families, institutions, and public figures in translating purpose into meaningful, lasting impact.
With more than 35 years of advancement experience, Andy has built a career defined by trusted relationships, thoughtful strategy, and the ability to align vision with execution. He has advised high-net-worth individuals, nonprofit organizations, healthcare institutions, and academic leaders on transformational gifts, philanthropic initiatives, and long-term development strategy.
Andy helps clients define their voice, clarify their values, and build platforms that are authentic, strategically aligned, and designed for long-term relevance.
Over the course of his career, Andy has helped secure and steward transformational philanthropic initiatives and the advancement of major institutional initiatives, including support of the Sandra and Vin Scully Heart Rhythm Center and the Berry Gordy Clinical Research Laboratory at Providence Saint John’s Health Center.
In addition to his advisory work, Andy has shaped institutional storytelling and messaging, serving as editorial lead for Saint John’s Magazine, where he helped articulate the narratives that connect philanthropy, community, and mission.
Andy is known for his discretion, judgment, and ability to navigate complex decisions with clarity and purpose. He serves as a steady partner to those seeking to not only give—but to build something meaningful that endures.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
